Take-Home Whitening with try whitening gel
To accomplish the whitening of your teeth, we utilize a tray whitening system. This tray whitening system is completed in 2 steps. The first step is to make an impression of your teeth. With this impression, we’ll craft your custom whitening trays that you can use in your own convenient time and which can be used over and over. Finally, you will take the whitening gel and put it in for a short period of time over a period of a few days. This often results in a whiter smile of 4 – 8 shades!
Whitening trays and whitening gel can be used at your own convenience. We carry different brands differing in flavor and strength. Patients can expect to see dramatic results as soon as the first night and up to one week later!
Internal whitening
You probably notice some people who have a different tooth color than the rest of his/her teeth. There are many reasons for that including trauma, or an old silver filling that stained and tattooed the tooth with an unpleasant grayish color. To fix that, the following methods are used:
-Internal bleaching – usually this procedure involves root canal therapy. The discoloration of a tooth is due to the internal changes of the pulp or the inside tissue of it, making the tooth yellow or gray. The procedure involves the application of high concentration peroxide perforate inside the tooth to allow that one tooth to change back to its natural color. After the desired shade has been reached, which might take a few weeks (2-4 ideally), we then restore the tooth with white filling.
-Cosmetic tooth colored restorations or veneers/lumineers in cases of internal staining related to fluorosis or antibiotic intake during development.
